It seems that having an about page is pretty standard so instead of deleting this I’ll put a little something in here and then forget about it. The story behind the name of the page goes something like this. Once upon a time a boy was trying to create a throw away yahoo mail account to have an address to give interwub companies which are likely to spam or sell addresses. After trying several different names and meeting with defeat each time he entered “thwarted_again” as acknowledgement of the problem and it was accepted. That boy was me. Oh innocent youth in the younger days of the internet how we miss you. The address still functions and occasionally serves its intended purpose. When attempting to register a domain for this site I was met with similar discouragement and once again the name by which you have reached me was available. Thanks Whitney for suggesting it.

The construction of this place is largely the result of Aaron getting tired of me sending mass e-mail to everyone every time I saw something shiny or lashed two sticks together with a bit of twine or gum wrapper. He got me to register the domain, secure hosting, etc. and then walked me through the installation and set up of this place. I suppose only time will tell if I end up being any good at keeping it updated.

I think I won’t talk about myself in here too much. If you read the rest of this place you’ll get a better idea about who I am.
